What reading modes does MDDock have?+
Three ways to read: the document list for scanning, a clean reading view that strips everything but the text, and a presentation mode that turns a note into slides. The terminal TUI adds a card view that slices long documents by section.
Can I really present a Markdown file as slides?+
Yes — presenter mode paginates the document, shows page numbers and speaker notes, and needs no PowerPoint or Keynote. Write the talk as a note, present the note.
What makes long-form reading comfortable?+
Thirteen reading themes (paper, sepia, dark and more), a serif body face designed for long text, bilingual reading-time estimates that count Chinese and English correctly, and continuous reading that queues up the next piece when you finish one.
Can I preview a file without opening it?+
Yes. Hover over a note and a preview pops up in place — enough to decide whether it is the one you want without losing your place in the list.
Do reading modes work on any Markdown, or only MDDock notes?+
Any Markdown. A vault is a plain folder, so READMEs, exported docs and blog drafts all get the same reading views, themes and presentation mode — no import or conversion step.
